Kara and Tyler wanted to have a view of the Boston Harbor for their summer wedding and the Boston Harbor Hotel provided the ideal backdrop. The bride and groom described the look and feel of their day as “Somewhat Preppy and nautical, but still formal and classic Boston”. Kara and Tyler wanted lots of details that incorporated their colors of navy, green and coral and Edna Dratch-Parker and her team at EFD Creative helped to create the dream look for the couple on their perfect summer day.
After getting ready in their suites, Kara and Tyler met on the pier for their first look followed by photographs with their wedding party under the arch. The nuptials took place at the beautiful St. Cecilia’s Church nearby. After the ceremony we spent some time with the newlyweds taking photographs around the wharf before they headed to cocktail hour.
The reception took place in the Boston Harbor Hotel Wharf Room right on the water and SoHo kept the party going throughout the evening. We loved all the personal touches that the couple included in their day including a surprise rendition of one of the families favorite country songs (complete with cowboy hat courtesy of Kara’s dad). We had such a great time capturing the events of the day for such a wonderful couple.
