Recent newlyweds Alana and Andy were in search of a wedding venue that could incorporation the ideas and inspirations that they both loved. The Estate at Moraine Farm was exactly what they were looking for. Located on 175 acres of conservation land and forest overlooking Whenham Lake, this unique North Shore location offers farm to table catering by Fireside Catering that fit perfectly with the rustic look and feel the couple was going for.
Alana loves the website Style Me Pretty and used it to add some unique ideas to personalize this historic Beverly property including custom chalkboard signs, burlap accents on the bouquets and cocktail tables. When guests arrived, they were treated to a pre-ceremony cocktail hour that included refreshing drinks from mason jars.
Place cards were created on personalized packets of seeds of various herbs and spices (which were also used for the table names). For the reception under the tent, chalkboard signs were also used for the menus at each table at the reception along with homemade sweet jams made by sister property Gibbet Hill Farm for the favors. The colors peach, green and graphite and gray were chosen by the couple and used in the bouquets, centerpieces and attire and worked perfectly with the natural surroundings.
Before the perfect evening celebration concluded, the couple exited the estate and boarded the trolley through a tunnel of their guest with sparklers. So fun! Congratulations Alana and Andy! We loved capturing such a fun and inspired wedding for you and your families.
