Bethany described the feel of her New England fall wedding as “ Woodsy Elegant”. The couple chose 11/11/11 as their wedding date and wanted to keep fall in mind without the traditional expected “fall wedding look”. So they brought in browns, greens and the grooms love for the outdoors.
Bethany works in the wedding and event industry for Chad Michael Peters so, of course every detail was perfectly planned. The cake was beautifully simple with a vine throughout & an actual tree trunk stand. The element of green was brought in, as it is both the bride and grooms favorite color. The bride chose brown bridesmaids dresses with one shoulder, a pleated bodice & beaded ruffle trim. The girls looked lovely and were a perfect compliment to the groomsmen in their grey suits. Since green and brown flowers are not the “easiest to come by ” they chose to incorporate purple into their bouquets. The table linens were done in a willow pintuck and the sweetheart and cake tables in a willow Abigail to add “a little something extra”. The napkins they chose were a Bengaline Pecan Shell to bring in the brown tones. The big surprise for Scott was his groom’s cake that was hunting themed.
Of course no wedding would be complete with out a candy bar! Bethany describes it perfectly.. “We both love candy, but who doesn’t? So, we had to do a candy bar with all purple, green and brown candy along with custom bags for guests to take home with them.”
Congratulations to Bethany and Scott and thank you for trusting Person + Killian Photography to document this day!
