Jess + Andrew Say “I Do!” at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge

April 19, 2011

For newlyweds Jessica and Andrew, the planning started off perfectly when the then bride-to-be found her Kenneth Pool dress at last years local Brides Against Breast Cancer event. From there, all of the perfect details for their spring wedding at the Royal Sonesta, Cambridge fell right into place with the guidance of Janie Haas Event Consulting and the Royal Sonesta team.

Jess’s vision and inspiration were a combination of a Frank Sinatra classic 1950’s feel and pink blush cherry blossom branches with gun-metal gray accents that were incorporated throughout the wedding day.

The the initial first look took place on one of the outdoor patios overlooking the Charles River and Boston Skyline followed by some wedding party and family photos in several locations throughout the hotel.

After all of the formal photos, it was off to sign the Ketubah prior to the ballroom ceremony that took the guests breath away when they saw the gorgeous chuppah created with real cherry blossom branches and bark by the team at Winston Flowers with lighting by Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design.

After cocktail hour, the celebration continued for 250 guests as they made their way back into the ballroom for the reception. Jess and Andrew alongside their friends and family celebrated until the early hours of the morning with the continuous entertainment of Beantown.

Congratulations Jessica and Andrew and thank you for choosing Jill Person Photography to capture your beautiful wedding day!
